The Sri Lanka Army (SLA) stationed in Batticaloa said they recovered a large cache of weapons buried hidden by the Liberation Tigers in two separate jungle locations in recently captured areas. The weapons were discovered in Naarakamoolai, Kudumpimalai and in Thikiliveddai during a search operation carried out Monday morning, according to SLA.
