Use these tips to reduce your bills:
- Pump up your tyres (i.e. on your car) this is supposed to reduce fuel consumption.
- Carefully check your water & electricity bill make sure you are not being billed as a commercial establishment!
- Check ALL bills for hidden charges
- Don’t use 15 amp plugs needlessly e.g. you should not need to use both the hot water geyser and your a/c on the same day!
- Buy smaller quantities (of anything)
- Can you pay your credit card outstanding with your salary - If “No” you need to stop using plastic!
- use e-banking service - save time and money on trips to the bank
- ‘Usually’ loans are cheaper than credit card “credit”
- YES - paying off a loan does force you to save - what did you need that loan for?
- NO - you don’t need that plasma/LCD TV
- Don’t put yourself in temptations way - avoid all shops with ….(things you love but can’t afford)
