I give my dirty laundry to “crescent” and collect last weeks washed and ironed laundry.
This confused my driver who asked me whether they give the soiled clothes back - laundered immediately- yes of course, I replied they have very quick machines! This reminds me of the adage its wise to stay silent rather than open your mouth and prove your a fool.
But my driver is full of insight (- sometimes) - he asked me why the GOSL wants to celebrate independence if they are so scared of bombs and want to close all the roads? After I stopped gaping at him I answered - the answer is in the minds of the people who voted for the Government - it was his turn to gape
He also asked why Michael Jackson had not changed his name (to a Muslim name) if he had become a Muslim - I told him to shut up and drive
