I have some good news for a change…
The Sizzler (at Walukarama Road) really sizzles very good concept - piping hot sizzling food served to you on a iron platter - what better way to enjoy your meal.
The bill came to about Rs 1300/- p.p. so not really economical but really worth the occasional visit.
On a more disappointing note…
Sheetal Samudra gets a thumbs down for poor service - at an eat in - they took almost 1.5 hours to bring the ordered food. And it wasn’t worth the wait. I didn’t learn from this experience ordered take way and they delivered to my home when I specifically requested them not to deliver - they Charge Rs 150/- for delivery. The manager agreed to give me one gulab jamun - when I requested two Jamuns - he stated its over Rs 500!!! (YAR!)
So I reluctantly settled for the one - he made me wait another 30 minutes and then I politely inquired where the manager was - he had vanished from the restaurant!!
Bottomline stay away from Shit-all Samudra
